Searcher Educator Brings Light & Hope to the Elderly

Maputo, Mozambique – On Tuesday, 19th of December 2023, Professor Mateus Mutola, the founder of the Genius Philosophy, brought Light and Hope to the elderly of Ferroviário Neighborhood, which is a community within the city of Maputo.

The Light and Hope was brought to the elderly through a Supportive Christmas offered through MAMU Initiative with the slogan: “Old Age is Not the End”. The Initiative is presided by Professor Mutola who with the help of the local administration gathered 100 elderly people who attentively hearkened to the interventions of both Professor Mutola and "Granny" Maria, who is the National President of the Forum for Elderly in Mozambique.

Professor Mateus Mutola candidly explained to elderly that being an elderly person is not synonymous with being old but a Senior Citizen. Furthermore, Prof. Mutola established, among several facts, that being an elderly person is not identical with being a sorcerer but, on the contrary, it can be an indication of Knowledge and Wisdom; since, they learnt from the best extant school: the School of Life.

Prof. Mateus Mutola challenged the Senior Citizens to value their life experiences and consider sharing with the younger generations especially their grandchildren the principles derived from the School of Life. Prof. Mutola unequivocally challenged the elderly to open their minds to comprehend that their “pupils” are not just their biological descends but also children and young people from their neighborhood and anyone else that life will draw unto them because our inheritance may not be just for our bloodline but generations untold.

Prof. Mutola challenged the elderly to write their auto-bibliographies so that untruths about their lives are not told at their funerals; likewise, he urged them to write books (those who can) that would serve as life lessons for future generations and hence they would leave as part of their legacy.

Prof. Mutola concluded that the elderly person is important, has value and deserves the best; and that his / her voice must be heard.

The Supportive Christmas for elderly was honored with the presence of the National President of the Forum for the Elderly in Mozambique, Dr. Maria Cossa who praised the ingenuity of Prof. Mutola and emphasized that it is regrettable that the elderly are marginalized both by their family and by the government.

Dr. Maria Cossa insisted that together with Prof. Mutola and several other actors they would continue to fight for the recognition of the elderly in Mozambique and their insertion and acceptance within their family.

The supportive Christmas was brightened with the presence of John Goo, a Mozambican acoustic musician well known in the Mozambican musical world.

Prof. Mutola together with the kind MAMU Initiative team offered a delicious banquet to the Senior Citizens of Ferroviário; the lavished banquet closed the event with a high note.

First of Its Kind Global Searcherdemic Life Award

Three inspiring Life leaders were honored on Saturday, January 27th for their unique contributions to their communities and the world. The Searcherdemic Life Award was the global prize for the recipients who are “role models of a new education paradigm,” says HRH Clyde Rivers, the Founder and President of iChange Nations (ICN), the world’s largest Culture of Honor organization. The ceremony was headed by HRH Dr. Clyde Rivers and Prof. Michal P. Pitzl, the Chancellor of United Graduate College and Seminary International (UGCSI).

Saturday’s event was the fruition of the first of its kind collaboration between ICN and UGCSI, two global networks promoting honor and innovation. The aim of the event was to bring honor to and highlight individuals whose lives exemplify Searcherdemic education. Searcherdemics is the new education paradigm created by Prof. Michal P. Pitzl, and it validates God ideas and the experiential knowledge that comes from Life education. “Education does not start in a classroom and end when you graduate” says Prof. Pitzl, “education begins the day you were conceived until the day you die. People receive an education every day in life.”

Mr. Emory Nihipali of Las Vegas USA, was one of the first recipients in the world to receive this prestigious award. Mr. Nihipali has served the Hawaiian community through radio media for 25 years, promoting peace and civility. “Everyone has a journey, and that journey only belongs to one person, you,” said Mr. Nihipali during the ceremony. He also shared that for 25 years he has been doing his work and helping and educating people about “aloha,” promoting the love of the world.

Dr. Lynca Pacis Mugisha of Bujumbura Burundi also received this first of its kind Life Award. “Dr. Lynca is one of the best Territorial Coaches in the world,” stated HRH Clyde Rivers. She is currently connecting local village businesses with top institutions on the continent of Africa.

Apostle Dr. Carolyne Wangeci of Nairobi Kenya also received the Searcherdemic Life Award on Saturday. Apostle Wangeci is a woman apostle who has created a network called Awakening International Network, which is currently in four countries. “Part of creating a new culture is to use new language,” said Prof. Pitzl. And Apostle Carolyne has done so with her Awakening Network. She says that Africa today needs “impact and they want to see results. People need physical, spiritual and tangible results.”

The Searcherdemic Life Awards ceremony highlighted three individuals who had an idea to impact their world, but they also moved their ideas forward with action. This movement is what HRH Clyde Rivers and Prof. Michal Pitzl call “experiential knowledge” and what they aim to promote on the Searcherdemic Life Award platform.

Searcherdemic Life Awards will be coming from other global platforms in the near future, in the Spirit of promoting others and their unique ideas. Stay tuned!

ICN is a Culture of Honor and consulting organization that is committed to bringing back the Lost Art of Honor by building a culture of Honor that recognizes individuals throughout the world who have exemplified extraordinary humanitarian efforts to effectively change nations. ICN is the largest Culture of Honor network in the world.

Searcherdemics is a new paradigm of education that validates the idea from God and relates to Life Education that produces practical and relevant outcomes, also known as evidence and results.

With one of BlessedGirl Global’s goals being to end period poverty, Dr. Phifer-Derilhomme states that they will visit several secondary schools to provide hygiene packs for the young girls.

Seeking new authors

The first and second editions of the 4 C’s (Civility, Community, Creativity and Climate Change) call on the youth to come up with new ideas and find innovative ways to push past their challenges.

Dr. Phifer-Derilhomme notes that the civility tour will also be an opportunity to network with young leaders who want opportunities to learn and share their thoughts on different aspects of the 4 C’s.

She elucidated that The 4 C’s present an opportunity for everyone but, more importantly, the young people to become change agents by using the 4Cs system to establish conversations among dynamic emerging issues and leadership strategies.

Dr. Phifer-Derilhomme discloses that the international tour will have approximately 20 delegates.

They will co-facilitate the event.

Additionally, the dynamic leader enlightened on the importance of having the youth component of the delegation, where some young speakers and authors who have co-authored the two previous books will collaborate throughout the tour.

“We have co-authors of the second edition of the 4 C’s and we allow them to go touring and sharing their knowledge and inspiration and also learn and experience various cultures around Africa,” she explained.

BlessedGirl Global will equally be represented by Pastor Koatiki Anderson, several college students, and secondary teenagers.

In perspective, she asserts that the trip to Kenya will be looking for even more schools and conservatories that will serve in the areas of sustainability.

Searcher Professor Brings Light & Hope to Children

Maputo, Mozambique – On Saturday, 3rd of June 2023, Professor Mateus Mutola, the founder of the Genius Philosophy, brought Light and Hope to the children of Ferroviário Neighborhood, which is a community within the city of Maputo.

With the help of the local administration Professor Mateus Mutola gathered 150 children aged 3 to 12 and taught them, on their own level of understanding and language, about their value and worth as human beings and how they were born a solution for the challenges of Mozambique and the world at large. Professor Mateus Mutola also taught them on ethical and moral manners and humanism to be lived out.

Professor Mateus Mutola skillfully and lovingly explained to the children of Ferroviário community how they should not let their background and upbringing impede them from dreaming big and engage in all the necessary actions in order to see their dream come to pass because they were born rich hence their wealth is in within them as gifts and talents.

Professor Mateus Mutola lightheartedly guided the children into understanding that their worth, importance and significance comes from the truth that they are created in the image and likeness of God.

The event was enlivened with the presence of professional clowns who helped in keeping the children engaged and entertained. Two of the greatest singers of Mozambique also joined the event. “Auntie” Janet, a professional saxophonist, magically played her instrument to the great amusement of the children. “Uncle” James gracefully sang the song, “The Smile of Children” which was so adored by the children and few adults alike that were present assisting in the coordination of the event.

At the event, the children of Ferroviário Neighborhood were treated to a variety of gifts and a super tasty snack.

This was the first public event held in Maputo strictly dedicated to children in connection with the international children's day in the last 10 years.

The launching of this event at the neighborhood of Ferroviário is part and parcel of MAMU INITIATIVE, a non-profit organization pioneered by Professor Mateus Mutola that seeks to bring Light and Hope to the elderly, widows, orphaned and abandoned children; promote the eradication of gender based violence and uphold the achievement of lasting improvements in the quality of life of these people.

The administrative leader of the neighborhood of Ferroviário congratulated Professor Mateus Mutola for the initiative and stated that MAMU Initiative was the first organization to visit his community and the very first to focus on children's education in that neighborhood and vehemently asserted that his administration is open to cooperating with MAMU Initiative at the level of the neighborhood he administers.

Professor Mutola is the Genius Code Breaker who helps professionals and entrepreneurs discover their purpose and awaken their genius in order for them to maximize their potential and enjoy a life of impact, establish an indelible mark and leave a legacy for future generations. He holds a Ph.D. in Christian Leadership and an Honorary Doctorate degree in Seardermics and is a Searcher Professor at the United Graduate College and Seminary International where he presently serves as the International Vice-Chancellor for Development.
